About Ganesha Coaching
Founded by Jackie Wright, a professional performance improvement coach, Ganesha Coaching aims to enable individuals and teams raise their performance and fulfil their potential at work. Jackie is an accredited coach, has an M.Sc. in Human Resource Development and is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
Jackie worked in both the private and public sectors as manager and team leader and in strategic management, before making a conscious decision to move into performance improvement coaching.
Ganesha
Ganesha is the Hindu Lord of success and destroyer of evils and obstacles. He is also worshipped as the god of education, knowledge, wisdom and wealth.
Jackie adopted this symbol for her company after the first team she coached, used an elephant analogy to describe aspects of their uncertainty. They called the elephant Ganesha.
Coaching Model
Jackie works in partnership with her clients to enable them clarify and reach their goals.
Together they identify and build upon strengths, realise potential, recognise areas for development and if necessary build confidence.
Her role as coach is to challenge her client’s thinking and encourage them to set stretching targets. To actively listen, respect values and opinions and offer impartial and unbiased support. Oh, and have some fun doing it!
